Algebra is hard for many

When you see letters for the first time you often feel a little dazed and confused. You start to ask questions like why am I doing this - and will I ever need to solve for x in my life?

You may start to feel frustrated and may even develop a strong dislike for math.

I definitely felt this pain during my journey and I want to share some of what I learned with you.

By the end of this course

You will have taken the necessary steps to prepare your mind for algebra.

  • Confidently read and write expressions

  • Solve equations involving the four basic operations.

  • Perform arithmetic with positive and negative numbers

  • Compute answers to questions with many operations such as 1 + 2 x 10
